Die Fags? $5M Later
TOPEKA, Kan. — The Westboro Baptist Church is being told to hand over its financial data as it fights paying a $5 million court judgment. U.S. District Judge Richard D. Bennett in Baltimore Thursday ordered two members of the church to appear at a March 6 hearing.
He asked them to bring certified financial statements of the church’s assets and other financial holdings. The Topeka-based church regularly pickets across the country at the funerals of members of the armed forces, claiming their deaths are God’s punishment for the nation’s tolerance for homosexuality. Bennett ordered the church to pay $5 million to Albert Snyder after church members picketed the 2006 funeral of his son. Church leaders and pastor Fred Phelps have said they don’t have enough money to pay the judgment.

Something I always wondered… God Hate’s Fags? But doesn’t the Bible say in some form or another that God loves all of his creations? That would include “fags” wouldn’t it?
This is just another instance where religion is used as a ruse for a purpose that is more based upon a cultural or individual ignorance.
This is just another instance where the freedom of speech is denied. These people have the right to their opinions, demented or not. The constition is supposed to provide them with this right. However, liberals and communists continue insisting upon playing God to decide whom is awarded the right to free speech and whom is not. Those whom are gifted free speech always speak the words and hold the ideals of the socialist/communist agenda.
Just file for bankruptsy and create new church. That simple.
Sam….first, learn how to SPELL “constitution”, then you can have an opinion about it. And please keep your religion to yourself. Freedom of religion allows for people to NOT have a religion at all.
